Both events will be held on Monday, September 30 between 15:30 and 17:30 in Hannover III.
PhD Forum
The PhD Forum at ESWEEK 2024 is a poster session with lightning talks by PhD students. The forum is open to all members of the embedded systems community and is free-of-charge. For PhD students presenting posters in the Forum, limited funds are available for travel assistance, based on financial needs.
Eligibility
- PhD students who have completed at least 1 year of studies or who have submitted their dissertation in the last 2 years.
- Dissertation research must be relevant to the embedded systems community.
Submission Information
- Submit via this Google form.
- Deadline: September
1013, 2024 (23:59 AoE).
Final Poster Format
- The poster presenting the dissertation research should be ready by September 28, 2024.
- The poster should include the title of the work, author names and affiliations, a summary of the work, the main contributions, related work, motivation, uniqueness of your approach, potential impact, results, and ongoing/future work.
- For preparation with PowerPoint, please set the poster size to 40″ ⨉ 30″ (portrait) or 30″ ⨉ 40″ (landscape). Do not use foam core material for your poster or any other thick/heavy material as this complicates mounting using the provided tape or pins. There are more suggestions under the general poster guidelines.
- A lightning talk will be scheduled for each accepted poster during the event.
