Call for Ph.D. Forum Submissions

ESWEEK 2022 will host a Ph.D. Forum poster session to provide an opportunity for Ph.D. students to present and discuss their research with the embedded systems community. The forum will provide students with a unique opportunity to receive feedback from researchers and practitioners in both academia and industry. In addition to the poster submissions, students also have the option to submit a 2-4 page abstract summarizing the main contributions of their dissertation. Selected submissions will be published in the ESWEEK proceedings and will be invited for a lightning talk presentations during a special Ph.D. Forum Session.

While priority will be given to Ph.D. students, Master’s thesis students may also submit posters.

The deadline for submitting posters with extended abstracts is June 11, 2022 via https://www.softconf.com/m/esweek22-phd. Posters will be accepted until August 1, 2022.

Submission Details


All submissions must include a one-page poster in PDF format with the dissertation title, authors’ names and affiliation (only the student and advisor), a concise summary of the dissertation (maximum 150 words), clear list of main contributions, summary of the motivation for your research, context for your research (summary of related work), uniqueness of your approach, potential impact, results so far, on-going/future work, and selected publications (if any).

Optional two to four page abstracts should be submitted as a PDF in two-column IEEE format (like the main conference) with the aforementioned information.
