Call for Brainstorming Session Proposals
ESWEEK 2022 invites you to submit proposals for brainstorming sessions to foster discussions regarding emerging topics in embedded systems, as well as broader topics driving scientific processes and practices to increase scientific impact and lead innovation. Further topics proposal discussing societal, environmental, and ethical aspects related to the field are also welcome. Discussions will be organized in small groups and moderated by the brainstorming session organizers. Position papers based on the discussions in the brainstorming sessions will be invited to a special session of IEEE Embedded Systems Letter (IEEE ESL). Proposals to organize brainstorming sessions should be submitted before the deadline of April 16, 2022 (AOE).
A 1-page maximum PDF file, including the following information:
- Title of the topic of the brainstorming session
- Abstract (max. 500 words) describing motivation (i.e., why you think this topic deserves to be discussed at ESWEEK), intended audience, and main goals. A non-exhaustive list of goals to be achieved by a brainstorming session discussion can be bringing a timely/new topic to ESWEEK, confronting different opinions about a given controversial idea/approach, unifying terminology used in different inter-disciplinary domains, and discussing scientific and educational practices in the field.
- Organizers and moderators with short bios and affiliations.
